Summary-
While YGL is typically used on desktop or laptop computers running a version of Microsoft Windows, YGL is made to work on a variety of desktop and mobile operating system configurations including Apple Mac OS 10.4.x and also BYOB (bring your own device) such as iPads and smartphones, though the platform is not necessarily made for mobile devices at this time.
Making sure you are running a vendor supported and up-to-date operating system is important to get the most security, reliability, and overall functionality out of your YGL software. The outline below will you know what operating systems are currently supported and/or most compatible with the YGL software.
Windows XP
Support for YGL running on computers with the Windows XP operating system ENDED ON April 8, 2014. Mac OS 10.x.x
Unlike the Microsoft Windows vendor, the vendor for the Mac OS 10.x operating system doesn't list end of life-cycles for it's operating system versions, though typically any Macintosh running Mac OS 10.4.x or above versions should be relatively compatible with YGL (though Mac OS 10.6.x versions are suggested). Mobile Operating Systems/BYOB (Bring Your Own Devices)
YGL does not currently have a mobile website, however it should be relatively compatible with most newer BYOD (bring your own device) options such as iPads, Kindles, Android OS powered devices, which also includes most modern smart-phone web-browsers. Please let our support team know if you run into any compatibility issues on BYOB devices so that we can continue to improve our software on these types of devices.
